Dr. Alejandro Campos Dorantes began his journey in Veterinary Medicine in 2010, driven by a genuine interest in the medical and biological sciences, as well as a deep admiration for animals. Born and raised in Mexico City, he found in veterinary medicine the perfect intersection of these passions.
He earned his veterinary degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), whose Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA). After graduating in 2015, he completed his social service at the Guide Dog Training School for the Blind where he remained with the institution for four years, working in its veterinary hospital and providing comprehensive medical care to guide dogs, while also caring for privately owned pets. He later opened his own private practice, further expanding his clinical experience. In 2024, he successfully completed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) and is now a licensed veterinarian in the United States. He is fluent in both English and Spanish.
Dr. Campos has a special interest in feline medicine and hopes to further expand his expertise in diagnostic imaging. He is committed to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and is known for his calm and gentle patient approach, taking the time to help every pet feel as comfortable as possible during his visit.
Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, spending time with his cat, Gustavo, staying active through exercise, and is currently pursuing his interest in singing and playing guitar.
