Reana Carney joined the North Broad Animal Clinic team in 2019. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines, where she hails from. Shortly after immigrating to the US and getting her first dog, a miniature dachshund named Alice, she unexpectedly found her calling in the field of veterinary medicine.
Recently, she earned her Veterinary Technician degree from Penn Foster College, where she graduated as summa cum laude. Throughout her academic career, she has been selected as the recipient of prestigious scholarships from the Asian Association of Veterinary Medical Professionals, the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America, Merck Animal Health in partnership with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation, and Zoetis in partnership with the American Veterinary Medical Foundation.
She takes great pride in advocating for animals and fostering a culture of learning and mentorship within the practice. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, cooking, sewing, and spending time with her husband and their plethora of animals.
